Untitled Poems
Editor's Note: The following three poems, all untitled, are separated by dashes.
-----
Here,
and nowhere else.
Right here,
soaking in
the dripping trees,
the embracing forest
and not on
the tilt-a-whirl
in my mind.
How can I be
more here
when I am
already here
and nowhere else.
-----
The mountains
wrap their
ravine-arms
around the trees
that wrap their
branch-arms
around the space
that offers
air
for me to breathe.
-----
I am not
from
anywhere
like most folks
are.
Drenched in
a place,
tasting like
shared memories
and
an ounce
of knowing.
I’m from elsewhere
and call everywhere
my home.
Right now
I live
on this porch /
in this rain.
