Reacting to this Scorpio Keynote: “Warrior am I and from the battle I emerge triumphant.”

I will begin again.

I will remember to stand firm

no matter what the odds

or how fierce the strife.

I will fight for life

to show I am the victor.

And I’ll lay down my life

to prove death’s no winner either.

I will struggle, strive, attain, toil, 

reap, plan, pray, fight to the last

and go down fighting,

turning blackness ever into day.

No more, I plead, no more,

I have served enough, taken my turn.

But still I onwards spin, persevering 

as do all who pledge their oath.

For such is life: onwards: seeking;

and I must work my trip as others do.

Though I tire and faint and weary,

though my heart within me’s weeping,

I know I must no longer tarry

but begin again: I grip my sword.
