Stephen is an award-winning poet from Fresno, California, a Pushcart Prize nominee, and a former member of the Fresno Poets Association. He attended Fresno Pacific University and CSU Fresno. BOWLES, BETTY LOU
Betty Lou has been writing poetry for more than 50 years, and first came to love writing when my 4th grade teacher said, “make a story using all of these spelling words.” Often she hears a phrase that captures her imagination. Floating words drift into her sleepiness and she grabs for her smart phone to record the words that will become something another day. On OMPJ
