Moving Back to Brooklyn

Moving Back to Brooklyn

I’m walking softly into the ending chapters, plenty of story yet to be revealed. I’ll bring poems and memoir writings, lots of yarn, Chagall’s flying blue mermaid poster. I’ll bring the mounted photo of my grandchild just born, pose similar to face of the Buddha.

There’ll be square dance and swimming wherever I’m living. Spoken word readings, radical mahjong. There’ll be justice work needing to be done. Behold full palette skin tone on metro faces. World concert of heart song. I’ll hear gaga, ouma, big momma, ya ya, granny.
